Unfortunately Egypt is not very well suited for those with mobility concerns, as most historic sites contain a lot of uneven ground and few have wheelchair accessibility. Additionally, our boats do not have elevators, but only stairs, to get between the rooms and the main deck. That being said, we have had many guests who have difficulty with mobility, including those with crutches and/or in wheelchairs who have thoroughly enjoyed the cruise.
When possible, we do our best to transport guests to, or as close to, the historic sites as possible, without requiring too much walking. But to enter many of these sites, some level of walking is required. For those who wish to stay on the boat and skip the tours/visits that require too much walking, they are more than welcome to do so! Additionally, our staff is happy to assist with getting up and down the stairs, as needed.
