Egypt is standard voltage is 220 volts. On our newer boats, our wall sockets are both European and U.S., while on our older boats the primary sockets require the European, 2 pronged variety. We recommend that you pack a universal travel adaptor just in case you need it. Electricity works all night for most small devices, up and including small medical devices (e.g. CPAP).
