We welcome solo travelers aboard our dahabiyas and strive to make single occupancy as accessible as possible. To balance demand and operating costs, discounted single occupancy rates are subject to specific conditions.
When Discounted Single Occupancy Is Available
Shoulder Months Only: Discounted single occupancy rates are generally limited to September and May.
Limited Discounts: We restrict the number of discounted single occupancy bookings per boat, per week. Once this limit is reached, additional single occupancy bookings are still welcome, but will be charged at the full double occupancy rate.
Not Offered in High Season: Discounted single occupancy rates are not available during High Season weeks.
Rates for Single Occupancy
Discounted Rate: Approved discounted single occupancy bookings pay 75% of the Double Occupancy rate.
Standard Rate: If the allocation of discounted rooms is full, or if traveling during High Season, solo travelers will be charged the full Double Occupancy rate.
Room Types Eligible
Eligible: Standard rooms and luxury rooms may qualify for single occupancy discounts (when available).
Not Eligible: Panoramic Suites and Family Suites are not available for single occupancy discounts at any time.

Single occupancy itself is always allowed, but discounted rates are limited.
We encourage solo travelers to book early, especially in shoulder months, to increase the likelihood of securing the discounted rate.
